Colors and Canvas
We will look at artwork by Claude Monet for the inspiration for this specific class.
Get ready for a morning of color, creativity, and fun at our Colors and Canvas painting party—a playful painting class designed just for kids ages 6–12! Guided by a friendly local artist, each child will follow easy, step-by-step instructions to create their own unique 8 x 10 masterpiece to take home.
Perfect for ages 6–12, this class is all about fun, imagination, and making art in a playful, encouraging environment. No experience needed—just bring your little artist and let the creativity flow!
Parents are expected to stay during the session to cheer on their little artists and enjoy the creative atmosphere. Kids are also welcome to bring their favorite snacks to enjoy while they paint!

Looking for a creative night out? Join us for Coffee & Canvas, a relaxed, beginner-friendly painting workshop where good vibes and great company come together. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or haven’t picked up a brush since grade school, you’ll be guided step-by-step by a local artist to recreate a stunning 11 x 14 masterpiece—no experience necessary!

This exhibit is to highlight the work of Victoria Phillips during her time as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Art at Lee University. The show will open on August 27th and will run through September 17th. The opening reception and artist talk will take place on September 9th.
