🫖 Make a Fruit Basket: Pottery Workshop

Join us for an immersive, hands-on 3-hour pottery workshop as we create a beautiful handcrafted ceramic fruit basket using slab-building techniques.

Throughout class, I’ll guide you step-by-step as you build your own fruit basket from beautiful speckled stoneware. We’ll focus on both form and function, creating a piece that is as enjoyable to use as it is to display. You’ll also choose your glaze color during class to make your basket uniquely yours.

Because this is one of our more detailed pottery workshops, we’ve set aside extra instruction time to ensure everyone has the opportunity to build with confidence while learning techniques for creating larger functional forms.

After the workshop, we’ll take care of the rest. Your fruit basket will be bisque fired, glazed with a food-safe glaze, and glaze fired to cone 5–6. Once complete, it will be microwave and dishwasher safe, ready to become part of your daily routine.

Participants will return approximately 4–6 weeks after class to pick up their finished piece.

No prior pottery experience is necessary—just bring your creativity and a willingness to try something new.
